Stone Foundries has been producing high quality castings for the aerospace industry on its 8-acre site in South London since 1939. This wealth of experience coupled with investment in plant and training has enabled the company to become the largest producer of magnesium castings in the UK. The sand moulding process is used for both magnesium and aluminium castings where low volumes or particularly large castings are required whilst the recently reequipped investment foundry caters for higher volume castings.

All castings are produced to the highest standards of quality and structural integrity to meet the needs of the aerospace industry. Comprehensive laboratory, non-destructive testing and heat-treatment facilities are located on site to ensure rigorous control of the whole manufacturing process. In addition to aerospace, Stone Foundries serves other high technology markets, including the defence, motor racing and nuclear industries.
